As Father Day approaches, just think of two things for Dad: A hot grill and a thick, juicy steak. A surefire way to please Dad is to serve him a premium, custom-cut rib eye or NY strip steak from Eddie's.
Let Dad kick back as you select and prepare his favorite cut of beef from Eddie's of Roland Park. Our butchers can trim and cut to Dad's liking. Victor's Meats, at our Roland Avenue location, carries USDA Prime NY strip steaks, ribeyes, sirloin steaks and tenderloin. At Roland Avenue, we now carry Strauss Free-Range Grass Fed Beef. Grass-fed beef is lower in saturated fat, yielding less calories and a delicious flavor.
In addition to our premium USDA Choice beef and grass-fed beef, our North Charles Street location has local, pasture-raised, all-natural beef from Liberty Delight Farms in Reisterstown, Maryland. We have a selection of their NY strips, porterhouse and beef patties.
Once you decide on your cut, simply prepare the steaks with a drizzle of olive oil, some freshly ground black pepper and new J.Q. Dickinson artisanal salt from the Appalachian Mountains. Heat the grill on high and sear the steaks over direct heat for a few minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the steak and how "done" you like your meat. For medium rare, the internal temperature of the steak should be 130ºF. It's that easy.
