Caesar Steak Salad

Our Caesar dressing makes this main dish salad a cinch.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. boneless sirloin steak
  • 2 cups Eddie’s Caesar dressing, divided
  • 1-11 oz. package mixed baby greens
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 6 oz. Buttermilk Blue Cheese, diced in 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, cut in wedges
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced

To Prepare

Marinate sirloin steak in 1 cup Eddie’s Caesar dressing. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours. Grill or broil steak to desired doneness, approximately 5 minutes on each side for medium rare. Allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing. Slice thinly just before serving.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix salad greens with sliced onion and blue cheese. Just before serving, toss greens with 1 cup of Eddie’s Caesar dressing. Place on platter with slices of avocado and wedges of tomato surrounding the greens. Top with warm slices of grilled sirloin.

Eddie's Recipe Tip:

Turn this salad into a Greek salad by replacing the blue cheese with feta cheese and adding Kalamata olives and roasted red peppers.
