The Chesapeake Bay is in our backyards, its waters course through
our veins. We're Baltimoreans, proud of our seafaring history. We
know a coddie from a crabcake, a striper from a sunnie, and our
palates instinctively differentiate Old Bay seasoning from its many
imitators.
Just
ask Charlie Spinnicchio, Charles Streets resident seafood
artist for his daily pick. Eddie's seafood departments bring
the best and freshest catch from local waters, and delicacies shipped
daily from around the world. We're happy to filet your selection
while you wait, and if you don't see what you want, ask! We just
may grab our tackle box, tie some flies, and spend the rest of the
day in pursuit of your request!

The weather gets warmer, the city air gets
stickier, and sooner or later, many Marylanders set their sails
for the cool breezes of Ocean City, Rehoboth, St. Michaels, or
other destinations on the other side of the Bay Bridge.
The problem is, it seems everybody leaves at
the same time you do.
If you're taking the long drive out route 50 this summer, plan
to sit in traffic. And there's no better way to enjoy the first
few hours of your vacation than a portable meal from Eddie's deli,
or our "Gourmet to Go" department.
So go ahead, roll down the windows, set your
parking brake, and enjoy the scenery. You're going to be there
for a while. Close your eyes, and your Eddie's famous crabcake
sandwich tastes like you're already at the shore.
