For all of you who are up this early on New Year’s Day, we wish you the very best for the coming year. And since the declaration of New Years Resolutions is an important feature of the season, we thought it might be a good idea to go public with our own culinary vows.
Al’s resolutions:
Learn how to cook fish better
Pay attention to the glycemic index: embrace whole wheat products, avoid white flour
Become more adept at mixing curry powders
Make more soups…using Jerry’s approach
Try again to make a really good pie crust (watch my girlfriend do it)
Eat more of the unusual greens: brocoloi rabe, brocolini, swiss chard, etc
Try a squash that isn’t a butternut
