So what can you get the cook who has everything?  It’s an age-old question, and here’s our answer:  we don’t know a single cook who thinks he or she really does have everything they need.  Which is why we have been out looking around for kitchen gadgets this holiday season.  And this year we’re focusing on items we actually have in our own kitchens…and love.

Phillips Hand-held Blender  R1358  (with processor attachment)  $20 (This is Al’s favorite kitchen gadget.)
Atlas Pasta Maker, hand cranked  $70  (get drying rack also)
Chef’s Choice Electric Knife Sharpener  #310  $60  (Your knives will love you for a long time to come!)
Ceiling mounted utensil rack…on-line, Lowe’s  $100-500  (A large variety here, but boy, do they look good.)
Shop on-line for Caphalon copper cookware, EBay in particular (Expensive in a store, but often very reasonable on-line.)        
Shop on-line for stainless steel mandolins.  (We found one for about $30.  Usual price can be around $100.)
