Position Summary

The Driver is responsible for delivering orders accurately and on time while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure all deliveries arrive in proper condition and reflect the company’s high standards.

Responsibilities

Delivery & Operations

  • Deliver orders accurately and on time
  • Verify delivery location and customer information
  • Inspect orders for quality, accuracy, and completeness before delivery
  • Safely load and unload all packages
  • Ensure perishable items are properly stored during transport

 

Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness and safe condition of delivery vehicles
  • Ensure vehicles are regularly cleaned (inside and out)
  • Keep delivery containers (totes, boxes) clean and sanitary

 

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Practice safe handling and transport procedures at all times
  • Report accidents, damages, or safety issues immediately

 

Customer Service

  • Provide courteous, professional service at all times
  • Greet customers politely upon delivery
  • Answer questions clearly, honestly, and respectfully
  • Handle customer concerns with a helpful and solutions-oriented approach

 

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

This position requires regular physical activity, including but not limited to:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling packages
  • Reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Clear verbal communication and the ability to hear and respond effectively


Education & Licensing

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Prior driving experience required

Salary: $16-20/hr
Compensation is based on years of relevant experience, demonstrated customer service ability, and overall ability to multitask.
